Tyler T. Tysdal is well versed in venture capital, buyouts, restructurings, hedge funds, real estate, public financings, and entrepreneurial ventures.  He is also a passionate believer in giving back to the community. Among the programs he supports is Leesa’s donation policy, which gives one mattress to nonprofit organizations for domestic violence victims for every 10 sold. In the past few years, Leesa has donated over 35,000 mattresses.

 

Tyler T. Tysdal and his family have also championed national initiatives to create awareness and raise funds for brain injury research.  Mr. Tysdal’s relationships with professional athletes as well as personal experiences with his daughters have driven him to back educational initiatives for brain injury prevention in youth and professional sports.

Mr. Tysdal also served on the nonprofit Boards of National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Colorado, and is an ardent supporter of women veteran’s issues.  He supports the work of the She Served program under his daughter Addy’s organization Sport-A-Kid.

 

Mr. Tysdal graduated with a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.  He is heavily involved in the Entrepreneur’s Organization and was also the chairman of the Colorado chapter of the Young President Organization. He was named as one of the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award.
